Signs your electrical panel needs an upgrade
Many homes in East Texas still run on panels that were never meant for today's appliances, HVAC systems, and EV chargers. Call an electrician if you notice:
- Breakers that trip often or won't stay reset
- Lights that dim when the AC or a large appliance starts
- A panel that feels warm, buzzes, or shows rust or scorch marks
- Fuses instead of breakers, or no open spaces for new circuits
- A recalled or problem panel brand such as Federal Pacific or Zinsco
- Plans to add an EV charger, a generator, a pool, or an addition
Our panel upgrade process
We start by looking at your current panel, your service size, and what you plan to add. Then you get an upfront flat-rate price before any work begins.
Panel replacement and service upgrades
We replace the old panel with a modern load center and, when your home needs more capacity, upgrade the service (for example to 200 amps). Every breaker is matched to its circuit and wire size.
Permits, inspection and utility coordination
Panel work is done to code and permitted when required. We handle the inspection and coordinate with the utility when the service has to be disconnected.
Labeled and tested
When we finish, every circuit is tested and labeled so you know exactly what each breaker controls.
